Elementary Open Enrollment for the 2021 - 2022 School Year

The Escambia County School District’s School Choice Office opened the 2021-2022 school year, School Choice, Open Enrollment application window for Elementary Programs.

 

“Elementary Controlled Open Enrollment for the 2021 - 2022 School Year begins on January 25 and ends March 5,” Chris McFarland, ECSD’s Coordinator of Student Assignment, Home Education and Student Records.

 

Applications will be available for N.B. Cook, the district's elementary magnet school, as well as all residential elementary schools not on the district's overcapacity list.  A list of overcapacity schools can be found on the School Choice website, http://ecsd-fl.schoolloop.com/schoolchoice. Parents will receive notification of the selected school through the email address provided within the application on April 2, 2021. 

 

Kindergarten and new student registration will begin April 5, 2021.  All preK students are required to participate in controlled open enrollment if they wish to attend a school other than the one they are residentially zoned to attend.
