Audiology

Full Audiological evaluations are conducted free of charge for students in Escambia County Schools. 

To schedule an audiological evaluation, call 471-6001.

The Audiology Clinic is located at 6101 Lanier Drive (on the campus of Holm Elementary School)

 

Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing Program

Program Description

The Program for Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH) serves students from infancy to graduation or through the school year they reach age 22. Early intervention services for children birth to three years of age are provided in the home setting. Students three to five years of age are served in pre-kindergarten classes with appropriate services and accommodations. Students in grades kindergarten through twelve receive a continuum of services based on individual needs. Educational Interpreters are provided as needed. Audiological evaluations for students with suspected hearing problems are provided at no cost by the School District Audiology Clinic
