Ms. Goshorn is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), and a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar Association. She has experience in the areas of probate, medical malpractice, civil litigation and family law, working over ten years for private law firms. Ms. Goshorn is originally from Tennessee, but has lived in Florida for over 35 years. She has two grown sons: Brad is an accountant studying for the CPA exam; and Joey is a decorated veteran having served two deployments to Iraq and who is currently a student at the University of West Florida. Both young men attended and graduated from Escambia County Schools. As a volunteer in her son’s schools, Ms. Goshorn spent many years working in the Escambia County School District before becoming a full time employee of the district. She is especially proud to say she was a charter member of the One-half Cent Sales Tax “Watchdog” Committee and served for eleven years with that group before resigning to accept her current position as the assistant to General Counsel. |
