NASP Military Council Announces First Meeting of the 2021-2022 School Year Military Families Invited to Submit Questions

Escambia County School District (FL) and Naval Air Station Pensacola leaders are announcing that the ECSD NASP Military Council will hold its first meeting of the 2021-2022 school year on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the Spencer Bibbs Center, Room 102, 2005 N 6th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32503, from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.  The meeting will be open to the public.


The mission of the ECSD NASP Military Council is: Improving educational services and communication between the Escambia County School District and military families.


Co-Chairs for the council will be Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction Steve Marcanio and NASP Pensacola’s Executive Officer Commander John Godbehere.


Families are invited to submit questions, ideas or concerns ahead of time so that answers can be researched prior to the meeting by sending their questions to by July 21, 2021. 


“The council is a joint venture by the Escambia County School District and NAS Pensacola to provide informational awareness and improve the educational opportunities for our local community,” said Godbehere.  “Everyone with a child enrolled to an Escambia County school is invited to participate in the public portion of the meeting and to ask questions that they would like addressed.”
