Technology

The Title I Technology office provides supplemental technical support, equipment, and services to Title I eligible public schools, nonpublic schools,  and programs. Technology is an ever-changing field, so many of the services that the Title I Technology office provides changes each year.  The major services currently provided by the Title I Technology office are:

• Poster Printing

• Audio/ Visual Assistance

• Additional School Assistance

• Planning and Consultation

• Staff Development

• Equipment Maintenance and Support

• Equipment Distribution

• Application Maintenance and Support

• Application Distribution (Servers)

• Title I Website

The Title I Technology office has formed an on-going partnership with West Florida High School to provide on-the-job training to high school seniors.  These students are hired by Title I and provide technical support to the Title I offices and to various schools based on school needs.  After graduation, many of these students have continued working with Title I while working on their college degree.
